A friendly character should support a clear task

A companion can make a new activity feel welcoming. The useful test is whether the child knows what to do once the introduction ends. Can they identify the skill, ask for help and stop at a sensible point without losing their place?

Our screenshots show the Cub on the learner home and a separate subject mission path. Compare how much each interface helps the child begin and return to learning. Enjoyment is worth observing, but a screenshot does not establish sustained motivation.

Try an explanation in the middle of a session

Choose a topic that is slightly challenging. When the child is wrong, ask them to explain why the correct answer works. If they can only repeat the answer, look for another example or a clearer method before continuing.

After the session, check whether the answer and explanation remain accessible. A strong first experience is easier to assess when you can return to the actual work instead of relying on a score summary.

Compare the real payment and household allowance

An advertised daily price can be a helpful way to describe a long commitment, but it is not the amount charged each day. Compare the annual total with the actual months you intend to use the service.

Family allowances and promotions can change. Confirm the current number of included children directly. This page deliberately does not import an older household allowance into a new price comparison.

Try the teaching, right here

Explore a real Smart Cub exercise with your child. This public sample is not an assessment: nothing is saved to a learner account and it does not award mastery.

Compare the amount you would actually pay

Change the preparation period, learner count and plan. Annual and multi-month commitments are counted in full, even when you intend to use fewer months.

HeyKitsu lists £24.99 month-to-month or £179.99 annually, advertised as a £14.99 monthly equivalent.

Confirm how many children the current plan includes. The calculator uses one learner unless verified otherwise, rather than repeating an older family allowance. Complete billing periods are counted. Family licences are rounded up; unverified discounts are excluded. Price alone does not compare teaching quality or admission chances.

Compare the service as well as the amount

HeyKitsu advertises personalised preparation across several exam routes. This review does not validate every route, question or outcome. Smart Cub does not claim identical coverage or a direct transfer of progress.

Our published Standard subscription price is £14.99 monthly for up to 4 children. Check every Smart Cub plan inclusion before choosing.

Questions about HeyKitsu and Smart Cub Learning

Is HeyKitsu £14.99 month-to-month?

The reviewed price at that equivalent is £179.99 billed annually. The separate month-to-month price is £24.99.

How many children are included?

Check the current offer directly. This review does not reuse an older family allowance as if it were confirmed for today's plan.

Is a game-like interface enough to choose a platform?

No. Try the explanation, next task and return journey. A child's willingness to use the product matters alongside the quality and fit of the learning.
