What to do after the 2026 Weald Grammar Assessment
- Weald said it would email results in line with Kent County Council's notification process for the Kent Test. Check your email, and contact the school if nothing arrives.
- Name Weald of Kent Grammar School on your Secondary Common Application Form. The school says it cannot consider a girl for a place unless it is named. Kent families must apply by 31 October 2026, so check your own council's date if you live elsewhere. If your daughter qualifies for Pupil Premium priority, the school also needs its Supplementary Information Form by 31 October.
- Passing the Weald assessment and passing the Kent Test count equally, and neither guarantees a place. The school applies its oversubscription criteria to 270 places. Offers are made on National Offer Day, 1 March 2027.

1. School assessment, as an alternative to the Kent Test
The 2027 policy schedules the Weald Grammar Assessment at the school on the Saturday following the Kent Test, without an exact calendar date. The current FAQ names Paper 1 English and Paper 2 Maths, one hour each; the policy also includes verbal and non-verbal reasoning within the assessment. Follow the school instructions for the actual sitting.

Scoring and eligibility
